“Albums vs. Singles: Which Makes More Sense for Indie Artists?” I feel that singles are what get you on the map so that should be the main focus at first. What do you guys think?

I think Singles are great but ONLY IF you have many other publicly available (or Free to listen to) pieces where your fans have actually discovered you from in the first place. If you don’t have many pieces out there being heard by your fans already, then it is better to make an Album where you can feature your genre/style of music. That’s how I see it.

I am of the opinion it would take an artist at such a high level artistically to radicalize the industry for it to be like the golden days. To me, all of the newer mainstream music is very shallow and sounds the same. Lyrically the same thing.
