I am of the opinion it would take an artist at such a high level artistically to radicalize the industry for it to be like the golden days. To me, all of the newer mainstream music is very shallow and sounds the same. Lyrically the same thing. It is as though people are more preoccupied with being celebrities than being artists which therein lies the problem. That is my observation and thoughts on it.
