​Conditions that Apply to Category Selection  

You are either an individual or a team. If every member of your team is under 21, you will enter in that category.
If you (or a teammate) become 21 the year you enter, you are not eligible in this category.

You are Professional if you (or a teammate) make a significant part of your income from streaming, and/or professional music placement with artists and synchronization placements. Have established social media followers. Had or currently have pro contracts. Are intentional in your pursuit of brand, fan base and music content for a number of years. And have consistently released music for an extended period.

If you are NOT under 21, a professional, or a team, then you are Emergent.

Your entry is not complete until you have submitted. 

You must be a member of MusicAlliance.com  A complimentary member may enter the Youtube challenge.  

You must be a full member (not just complimentary)  in order for your entry to move forward to the main Song Sharks Challenge

You may enter up to three songs but must upload only one song at a time as each song will have a unique anonymous identifier. 

You have read and understood all rules that pertain to entering your song into Song Sharks and must submit a signed Song and Artist Competition Liability Waiver.

Fraudulent or incorrect information may lead to disqualification  

You agree to all the rules at all times or may withdraw your entry.   

SONG AND ARTIST COMPETITION LIABILITY WAIVER


This Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on the date of submission between Digital Music Alliance inc, located at Las Vegas Nevada ("Organizer") and the participant as detailed in this entry process

1. Scope of Agreement

This Agreement pertains to Participant's involvement in the Song Sharks Music Investor Challenge ("Competition"), organized by the Organizer. Participant acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Competition is voluntary and subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein.

2. Acceptance of Terms, Conditions, and Event Rules

Participant acknowledges that they have carefully read and understood all terms, conditions, and rules governing the Competition as set forth by the Organizer. Participant agrees to abide by all such terms, conditions, and rules throughout their participation in the Competition. Participant further agrees to comply with any additional entry requirements or modified challenge rules communicated by the Organizer, as required to ensure fairness and practicality.

3. Release of Liability

Participant hereby releases and forever discharges the Organizer, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with Participant's participation in the Competition, including but not limited to any claims for copyright infringement, intellectual property disputes, defamation, or breach of contract.

4. Indemnification

Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with any third-party claims related to Participant's participation in the Competition, including but not limited to claims alleging copyright infringement, intellectual property disputes, defamation, or breach of contract.

6. Right to Use Participant's Material

Participant hereby grants Organizer the non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, display, and distribute Participant's submitted materials (including but not limited to songs, artwork, and performance recordings) for the purposes of promoting the Competition and Organizer's activities, including but not limited to advertising, marketing, publicity, and social media promotion.

7. No Guarantee on Prizes

Participant acknowledges and agrees that prizes awarded in connection with the Competition are subject to availability and may be provided by third-party sponsors. Organizer makes no guarantee as to the availability, nature, or value of prizes and disclaims any liability arising from Participant's receipt or non-receipt of prizes.

8. Representation and Warranty

Participant represents and warrants that:
a. Participant is the sole owner of all rights, title, and interest in and to the song(s) and artwork submitted by Participant for the Competition, or Participant has obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and clearances to submit such materials to the Competition;
b. Participant's submission does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party;
c. Participant's submission is original and does not contain any defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nevada. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nevada.
